I originally didn’t name it, and even thought it was silly to do so. Though more recently something popped up in my mind and now I’m calling it Queso Blanco. And memorializing it in the App.

What are any of you calling yours? Please share.

"The Red car". Payments are so high, it keeps us "in the red". The car is so "red hot" that you dont even get 2 keys with it, and Toyota does not deliver "Sienna's", but instead they do "allocations". They dont deliver "keys", they deliver unfilled promises for keys "next month". That has been going on since December. Im done with "allocations", "waiting", missing keys, and Toyota's inability to deliver.

In Toyota's defense, the Ford Maverick, and F150 Lightning are the same way. They promise a cheap pickup, with great mileage, but they are always out of them, so they bait and switch.

If you go to the Toyota dealer and ask about a new Sienna, they try to switch you to used, or a different model. Its very unclear why they seem to have Tacomas on the lot by the basket full, but no Siennas, no rav 4 hybrids, and no Toyota Cross.

They need to do a better job managing inventory, I really dont want to settle on a car, color, equipment, price, etc, that does not work for me, and instead get one that Toyota thinks I should have instead, such as a Tacoma.

Some aviation enthusiast types may have an issue with it :)

Our original 2014 purchased new was totaled after 4 months when my wife skidded into a black ice car pile up. I don't recall the color but its name was Bob. The replacement, another new 2014 in red, was dubbed Redrum at my wife's suggestion, "murder" spelled backwards. That's a reference to the movie "The Shining" by the way. Nearly 9 years later it has not killed anybody yet which was kinda the whole point. We don't actually call it by name anymore--its "the van" or "the Toyota".

Yeah, that's a Gen 3 story but there you have it.

Our original Gold 2004 was named Sophia in honor of the Golden Girls. 2019, she was replaced with a White 2012, trying to keep with the theme, we tried Rose (Betty White), Dorothy, (Wife didn't like Blanch), but none stuck, so still called Sophia (She had white hair, right?)
Not all of our vehicles had names but, we had two Mitsubishi's, both called Mitz, and we have Lexus called Lexi

Our family has a 2006 Pearl White limited that has 250k primarily summer-only miles on her. It was time for the children to begin driving and they were going to be bestowed this reliable and safe vehicle so we purchased a 2022 Windchill White Limited to be the new member of the family. We have since named the 2006 that is stately, well-kept and refuses to age… Betty (White). We named the new sexy-looking, all the options that you want and turns heads…. Barry (White).

Betty and Barry White. My wife now loves Barry and she’s “Never Gonna Give You/Her Up” and Betty is now the kids “First, Their Last, Their Everything”!
