Driver side brake light not working (bulb is fine) on 2004 Sienna

Only the driver side brake light is not working and there is no power to the socket/connector bake light pin. All other lights work on the driver side, all lights on the passenger side work, and the center brake light works. Seems that there is only one fuse for all the brake lights.

Any suggestions how to diagnose and fix this problem? From the tail light assembly where does that wire bundle go that I can reasonably tell where the problem might be?
Are there on-line wire diagrams that show how the wires are run? Is there some electronic module that could have failed?
I could thread a wire from the passenger side but would like to first see if I can fix this problem correctly.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks for these diagrams. The Stoplight.pdf you sent states that location of Junction Connector J31 is explained on page 36 that I do not have.
Do you know where I find this connector? Is there any documentation on accessing this location as well as for removing the Lower Finish Panel which are the only two connector locations before the connector in the light assembly itself that I have tested and know is not getting power?

I am experiencing this exact same problem. The passenger side brake light is working fine, but the driver side brake light is not. One interesting observation is that both passenger and driver side brake lights will flash when the auto rear gate closer is shutting the gate.
If you found a solution, I'd be interested in learning about it.

Were you able to resolve this? I'm having the exact same issue with my 2009 Toyota Sienna. The stop light on the driver's side is not working when the brake is applied and the bulb is fine. Additionally, the light flashes when the auto rear gate closer shuts the rear gate.

If you're getting power from pin2, this should be 12 volt. The top middle light uses the same wire to supply the 12 volt.
So, if you're seeing the top middle stop light working when you're step on the brake, and you're not getting the 12 volt, then there is a break.
Also, make sure there is about 3 ohm between pin 3 to chassis ground. Measure from pin 3 to grounded chassis.
It should be about 3 ohms.

How do you know the light bulb is good? Swap the light bulb out with the other side's light bulb.

Even though that the filament of the light bulb looks good. It could be deceiving. Do the previous step to verify.

I found the hard way that the light bulb is bad in mine.
